Catching Up with Sam & Tina: A Triumph at Race the Sun Triathlon

I had the pleasure of meeting up for coffee with Sam and Tina from Deception Escape Rooms to chat about their incredible achievement last Saturday. The dynamic duo took part in the Race the Sun Triathlon to raise funds for Action Medical Research tackling an impressive challenge across multiple terrains.

The event required them to cycle, hike, and paddle their way through 40 miles of mixed terrain, all from dawn till dusk, racing against the clock. It was no easy feat, but the Deception Escape Rooms team absolutely smashed it!

I'm thrilled to have sponsored them, along with the support of other amazing local businesses like Critical Hit, Garden Rooms, Coco Gifts, Poffles Coffee and Cake, Cut Above, Riber Pets, and Matlock Boats. It was fantastic to see the community rally behind such an important cause.

For over 70 years, Action Medical Research has been funding vital research to help defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick and disabled babies, children, and young people. Their work has made a tremendous difference, and Sam and Tina's efforts are helping to continue that legacy.
